Dear teachers,
For Total Defence Day (TDD), you'll find a seven-paged section - "The Fall of Singapore: 70 years after" - in the February issue of What's Up. Peace education drives this section's poignant stories, ranging from DPM Teo Chee Hean's conversation about his family's war memories to why some say The Long Peace is here and may even stay.
In 2012, we continue trying to accommodate teachers' preferred ways of working. Last month, we started sending each school a set of hard-copy IDEAS. From this month onwards, all our IDEAS activities will be available as pdf files that you can download. Let us know what else we can do to help you use What's Up and MIX Magazine with your classes.
Sincerely,
Mary Cherian and Cherian George
